 Alberta Budget 2020

The provincial government released their first budget intentions in November, and while details are still forthcoming, we have been directed to cease taking new applications to the Rent Supplement Program and to suspend adding new clients to the program from the waitlist. We have also been told to expect reductions to the Rent Supplement Program budget, as well as relatively small reductions to our Social Housing Program operating budget.

 Bow River Seniors’ Lodge Spring Garden Party Our Second Annual Spring Garden Party was held on Saturday, June 1, 2019, to kick off Seniors Week in Alberta. It was a sunny afternoon full of fellowship, live music, snacks, fun activities and more, and it as all for free! Thank you to everyone who helped put it on, and to all who attended and helped make it great!

Kenway Mack Slusarchuk Stewart LLP presented the 2018 Audit Report and Financial Statements to the Board of Directors at the February regular meeting.

 2019 Municipal Requisition

The annual requisition packages will be provided to our contributing members in April, 2019. The requisition subsidizes our seniors’ lodge supportive living program.
